This two and a half year old Corbett International Resort is housed inside a mango orchard covering an acre. Winding pebble strewn lanes lead you to the stand-alone rooms, painted a cheery crimson, with thatched roofs.
Rooms :
There are 10 rooms at the resort divided in the categories of Economical, Standard and Deluxe, and there is also a dormitory on the premises. The Economical rooms are the smallest of the lot, plainly furnished with a double bed and two cane chairs. Attached washrooms have a shower but no geyser. The Standard rooms are larger, appointed with an air cooler, television, telephone, cane chairs, a small mirror and clothes hangers.
In suite washrooms have shower and geyser. The Deluxe rooms are the largest and are also air conditioned. Amenities include a television with satellite connection, cane chairs, a clothes rack and a small mirror. En suite washrooms are much bigger with a geyser, shower and also a bathtub. Bath amenities here include soap. The dormitories are for larger groups with a capacity of 15 guests and also have a television.
Dining :
The hotel's multi cuisine restaurant is modelled on the local 'gol ghar' style, round in shape, made all of bamboo and with a thatched roof. The furniture is cane and there is a television inside.
Hotel Facilities :
The hotel organises jungle safaris, elephant rides, nature walks and bonfire evenings on request and also screens wildlife movies. Other facilities include doctor on call, laundry service and car parking.
Location :
The Bijrani gate of the Tiger Reserve is 8 kms from the resort. The Ramnagar railway station lies 12 kms away while the bus stand is at a distance of 9 kms.
