Fishing and angling at various rivers is an adventurous sport. At present you can enjoy these two sports in various wildlife sanctuaries. There are opportunities for anglers in Corbett in Uttarakhand. The river Ramganga and Pancheshwar near confluence of Sharda and Saryu rivers are the best trout fishing and angling since the Days of the British.

Destination : Delhi - Corbett National Park - Ramnagar - Pancheshwar- Rishike sh - Delhi
Day 01 : Delhi
Arrive at Delhi. Meet on arrival and transfer to hotel. Afternoon sightseeing (optional) of Red Fort, India Gate, Raj Ghat, Chandni Chawk, Qutab Minar etc. You can relax at the hotel room or shop around at various places in Delhi. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02 : Delhi - Corbett National Park
Morning drive to Resort near Jim Corbett National Park. The National park is known for its diversity of wildlife and the bird species. Overnight stay at the Resort.
Day 03 : Ram Nagar river
Enjoy the art of fishing on the Ramganga River. This river near Corbett is known for its large collection of indigenous varieties of fish. Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 04 : Pancheshwar
In the early morning drive to Pancheshwar at the confluence of the Sharda and Saryu rivers.Afternoon is free for fishing, leisure and independent activities. Overnight stay inthe tented camp.
Day 05 : Pancheshwar
Try out fishing for the Mahaseer fish found in plenty at the confluence of the Sharda and Saryu Rivers: Pancheshwar, Relish fishing for two Days on the Maha Kali and local tributaries (Pancheshwar). The Maha Kali fishing point at the Saryu and Sharda confluence offers you the adventure and thrill rendered by fishing. Overnight stay in the camp.
Day 06 : Pancheshwar
One more Day to try out fishing on the same point or may be different points.  Overnight stay in the camp.
Day 07 : Pancheshwal - Rishikesh
Early morning After an early breakfast drive to Rishikesh and continue to Shivpuri. Arrive and overnight at Rafting Camp followed by campfire and dinner. Overnight stay in the tented camp.
Day 08 : Rishikesh - Delhi
After breakfast commence White Water River Rafting on Ganges till Rishikesh. Arriveand transfer to local restaurant for lunch. Afternoon drive back to Delhi.
Best Time : October to November & April to June is the best season to venture out for fishing in the Himalayan region. However, there is ample scope for angling that can be enjoyed even throughout the year in India. |
